PATIENCE & TOLERANCE
We live in a very diverse society. And our diversity may bring about conflict among us if we don't have patience and tolerance imbibed in us... I observed certain situations around me and wondered: why are we human beings so intolerant?
Sometimes we tend to be more intolerable with each other because we expect everyone to think and act exactly like we do. If you can be patient enough to take just a second to investigate, you may find that the guy seated behind you in the bus who innocently chews roasted corn like a hungry camel was actually never taught good table manners and etiquette, so he doesn't know not to chew with his mouth open. And that lady who seems snobbish and conceited might actually be a rape victim; and to be fair, as a result of lingering trauma, it would be expected that she wouldn't give much attention and audience to men, especially those she isn't well acquainted with.
It's indeed hard to practicalize, especially in some exasperating circumstances, but patience and tolerance are veritable virtues vital for cordial coexistence.
