YOU ARE MY SWEET MEMORIES

Good memories are so sweet and that's why if they're better than the present, thinking about them can become painful because we can't have them back.
We may have different wonderful memories, but the best are of love. And do you know you can make such memories immortal with determination? Well, I know it sounds like a fairy tale, and an incredible long shot. But I don't think my mind cared about that when it went ahead to give birth to this little piece:

When you reminisce about the good old days, the nostalgia can be painful mostly because you can't get those days back ever again. But what I want is to make new memories with you, so that in future when I look back and miss the good old days, I won't feel bad because I can immediately look to my side and see you standing right next to me.

Let's make new and better memories everyday so the past is never better than the present. And while we bask in the present, we can be confident that the future will be better than the present and past. I can't explain why, but I feel this overwhelming certainty that as long as you're with me, sweet memories will be endless and nostalgia will never be painful because - again - the good old days will always be standing right next to me.

My love, you are my sweet memories; an embodiment of all that has ever made me truly euphoric. Please, never depart from my side. Remain with me and the words hindsight, retrospect, and throwback will never taunt me. Ever!
