If this were a classroom and I, the teacher, and I ask the class, "Who wants to be wise?" I bet all hands will be floating in the air in an instant. But if you knew what it takes to be wise, will half of those hands still be in the air?... I guess not.
You know, it's so easy to ask God for wisdom, but getting it doesn't work like magic; sometimes to be wise, you need to go through some really tough experiences, and if you learn the needful from said experiences, you become wiser. Yeah so don't ask for wisdom if you aren't ready for what comes before it.
Now you know, when you ask God for wisdom, brace yourself.
