OBAMA AND TRUMP: THE CONTRAST.

A lot of people I know like Obama. I beg to differ, I'm not one of them - well I was, till I realized he was just another politician. I do admire his charisma though - such a good orator. But the content of some of his speeches don't sway me at all.

Personally, I believe a man who is so politically correct, feels he can please everybody, doesn't seem to be mad at anybody, refuses to call a spade a spade, or affirmatively say his mind on crucial issues - isn't to be trusted. I just feel such people have no concrete moral principles like, "Hey guys, anything I can say for you to like me so I can get what I want from you." Brethren, I can't even be comfortable having such a person as a friend. I'm allergic to chameleons. President-elect Trump on the other hand... Well, you know the rest. And that's what I admire about him.

I may not agree with everything Trump says or how he says it, but the mere fact that one man can face such a fierce army of opposition and still maintain focus and belief in his course, is a trait I just can't ignore. You may not agree with his views, but at least he didn't hide them from you. And the fact that he was elected just proves he only said what the larger chunk were thinking and feeling - voice of the people, whether good or bad.

Moral of the story: If you're one who believes in pleasing everybody while hiding your innermost feelings and intentions because you want to be perceived as good, you may just end up hurt and disappointed. Be real! Let people assess you based on who you truly are, and not based on a persona you think they would prefer! Even Jesus whom the people loved, one day caused kata-kata in the temple when the people were misusing it. He called a spade a spade! That shows He had integrity and preached what He believed, even if it meant somebody being offended. So why be so nice all the time even when your gut says otherwise? Sometimes you need to stand your ground and point fingers if need be. Anyway, my opinion. I'm out. *drops mic like Obama*
